And the end is here...

I have submitted final paper for Applied Technologies and I  have posted my poster to the discussion board. What a whirlwind this class has been. Definitely burnt me out much quick than 2 classes did last semester. As crazy as Maymester has been, I will consider taking another Maymester course next year, should there be one that meets my interest. I will definitely be taking more technology classes as I earn my MLIS though because it was made very clear to me that there is a slew of information out there that we only benefit me as I move through my career. It's been crazy, fun, and very informative. Hope everyone enjoys their summer off...or if your next round of class if you are taking a summer course like me.

Working through Assignment 4

I am very happy to be typing this up on my own computer...those of you who follow me on Twitter may have seen my post about my computer mishap this past Tuesday night...worst timing ever...I over 1 hour Wednesday morning with Dell Tech Support and they helped me get things squared away thankfully. After pushing all of my school work plans back a day, I find myself working on my final paper a day later than I wanted to be, and it has me a bit freaked out. I'm taking a little mental health break right now and will jump back into my paper...I foresee an all-nighter for me tonight...c'est la vie...

Thankful for the geographic difference

So reading some of my classmates blogs about our latest assignment, I am very thankful that I live in NY where summer reading doesn't start for another 3 weeks. I couldn't imagine trying to do this Maymester course in the middle of all the summer reading chaos in a public library. Kudos to all of you that are doing that!

Spending some of the day trying to think about a topic for our paper due Friday...I'm leaning towards Green Technologies, then I'm taking the rest of the afternoon/night off to go see Lady Antebellum, Joe Nichols, and Billy Currington...summer concert season is upon me here in NY :) I need the little break!
